Q: What is this VR Mystery School?
A: Three things primarily: a VR space, event venue and community about personal development, spirituality and mysticism. It’s a non-profit passion project by volunteers.
Q: This this a religion, sect or cult?
A: No. Cults are characterized by centralized leadership, social hierarchy, dogmatic beliefs and attitude, and above all total absence of, or punishment of critical thought. VR Mystery School is a passion project that seeks to facilitate non-dogmatic peer-to-peer interactions about personal development, spirituality and mysticism. Online and in Virtual Reality.
Q: What do you do?
A: TarotReaderFrog develops a Virtual Reality space that facilitates all sorts of social and educational activities. With the wonderful help of volunteers all sorts of activities are hosted in this space, for fun and learning. The community regularly hangs out in VR to casually discuss topics of interest too. Many of the regular attendees are self-initiated or otherwise solitary practitioners with strongly varying backgrounds and interests.

A: For convenience sake, discord is used to stay in touch and post activity reminders outside of VRChat.
About participating in Virtual Reality
Q: Do i need a VR headset to join?
A: No, all you need is a Windows PC with Steam Client and VRChat which are both free. You do NOT need a VR headset.
Q: How do get into VRChat ?
A: On Windows PC: download Steam Game Client for free at https://steampowered.com, make an account, and download VRChat for free from the store page (https://store.steampowered.com/app/438100/VRChat/). Run VRChat from Steam Game Client.
Q: Once i'm in VRChat, how do i visit VR Mystery School?

Q: Any reason to visit by myself outside of events?
A: Yes. The VR space is always open and accessible, and full of resources and interactive features that relate to the subject matter of personal development, spirituality and mysticism. Please visit as often as you like!
Q: Can i join as a Mac or Linux user?
A: As Mac user, not currently. Perhaps in the future this will become possible.
For Linux users, there are some options depending on your system. Due to rapidly changing circumstances we can not provide reliable info about this, and you will have to find out the details yourself.
